Dr. Hem Chandra, Vice Chancellor of HNB Medical Education University Selakui, Uttarakhand visited the ICAR - Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun. He visited the Institute Museum and appreciated the various technologies by the Institute for Soil and Water Conservation and Watershed Management for different Agro - Ecological Regions.

He also interacted with Dr. M Madhu, Director of the Institute, Dr Charan Singh, Head, Human Resource Development and Social Science and other scientists of the Institute and discussed about the research work being under taken by the Institute.

The visit was coordinated by Dr. Abimanyu Jhajhria, Scientist, Sh. Suresh Kumar, Chief Technical Officer and Sh Dharmpal, Technician of HRD&SS division. The programme was organized under the direction of Dr M. Madhu, Director of the Institute and Dr Charan Singh, Head HRD&SS Division.
