ICAR-IISWC organized a workshop on Innovative Formulations: Water Soluble Fertilizers under a public-private partnership programme on 11/01/2023 in association with Rallis India Ltd. The programme was hosted by the ASSRF Dehradun unit (Dr. D. Mandal-President, Dr. Trisha Roy-Secretary, and Dr. Devideen Yadav- Treasurer). Dr. Subhendu Bhadra Ray, Advisor, Rallis India Ltd and Dr. Malti and Dr. Sanjay Naithani from Tata chemicals were the special invitees. The programme started with the warm welcome of the guests by Honorable Director, ICAR-IISWC, Dr. M. Madhu. Thereafter, Dr. D. Mandal highlighted the importance of the programme for scientific research as well as for public welfare.

In continuation of the programme, Dr. M. Madhu presented the introductory remarks with highlighting the role of liquid fertilizers in agricultural development and for the benefit of stakeholders. Dr. Subhendu presented the significant work done by Rallis India Ltd. in the area of liquid fertilizers along with highlighting the different benefits of liquid fertilizers, their use mechanism and their ultimate impact on the crops. The presentation was followed by a fruitful interaction session in which various scientist of IISWC interacted with Tata group officials regarding their queries and suggestions for future research. Dr. Subhendu, Dr. Malti and Dr. Sanjay Naithani addressed the various queries raised by the Scientists. Dr. Trisha Roy proposed a formal vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, scientists and technical staff of the ICAR-IISWC for making the programme successful.
