ICAR-Indian Institute of soil and water conservation, Research Centre, Agra organized a Kisan gosthi cum input distribution program under SCSP scheme on February 24, 2023. The main purpose of the program was to create awareness among the farmers about SCSP activities and distribution of the already purchased items to the selected farmers under the SCSP scheme. The program was started with the welcome address by Dr. K. K. Sharma, Pr. Scientist & Head, ICAR-IISWC, Research Centre Agra. The program was chaired by Prof. N. K. Sharma, Dean, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Etawah, as a Chief Guest. The special lectures were delivered by the invited speakers Dr. Manish Singh, Head KVK, Awagarh, Dr. Rajendra Singh, Head KVK, Bichpuri, Agra, and Sh. P.K. Mishra, Deputy Director Agriculture, Agra (U.P.). More than 150 farmers from selected SCSP villages of Andaunka pura and Mudhera, district Agra, participated in the program. During this program, 20 sewing machines, 20 power sprayers, 50 seed storage bins, and 100 framing tool kits were distributed to the selected scheduled cast farmers. The program ended with the chief guest's address as well as concluding remarks by prof. N.K. Shrama and a formal vote of thanks by Dr. R.K. Dubey, Pr. Scientist. The program was coordinated by Dr. R. B. Meena, Sr. Scientist & organizing chairman of the event.
