ICAR-IISWC, RC, Koraput organized one days review meeting cum field visit to monitor working of solar operated Jholakundi installed at various location of Nandapur and Lamataput blocks, Koraput district, Odisha under RKVYproject on February 28, 2023. The review meeting was organized at Office of Directorate of soil conservation and watershed development, Nandapur, Odisha. In the review meeting a total of 44 person participated including staffs of IISWC, DSCWD and project beneficiaries from Nandapur and Lamataput blocks. Dr. Ch. Jyotiprava Dash, Senior Scientist (SWCE) cum PI of the project interacted with the farmers and reviwed about working condition of solar operated irrigation pumps. Dr. JotirmayeeLenka Scientist (Fruit Science) explained about nursery raising and efficient utilization of water. The DSCWD, Nandapur and Lamataput staffs such as Mr. Prasant Ku. Satapathy, Mr. Narendra Ku. Dash, SS Dash, LingarajSuna and Kiran Kumar Pattanaikparticited in the meeting. Pradeep Kumar (T-1), IISWC, proposed vote of thanks. After completion of review meeting all the staffs of the IISWC visited the project operational sites, and monitor the operation of installed solar operated pumping systems.
